What would happen if trump were to take away scholarships from transgender students at all colleges via mail executive order ?

    maybe you missed the recent court ruling that said all LGBT people are covered by the Civil Rights Act of 1964. thus if Trump we to attempt to discriminate his executive order would be immediately challenged in court and overturned.

    He could not issue that order as it violates the constitution of the United States of America.  The government cannot control how private institutions distribute scholarships (so if it was unspoken and they say that they denied your scholarship for a different reason, they could try that) , but state schools cannot discriminate based off of sex, gender, or sexuality. Furthermore, any institution, private or public, can be sued for discrimination (so if they lied and tried to discriminate but said it was for a different reason), and any program that receives any federal funds cannot discriminate either.
