Where would a raft that was sucked out to sea on a tidal current end up?

Suppose they were sucked out to sea from San Francisco Bay where would the raft likely end up? Would they get caught in the California current and be pulled southward and make landfall in Monterey Bay or maybe near Los Angeles?

How far would they travel? Would they be sucked back into the bay 12 or 24 hours later?

Where would their ultimate destination likely be?
