What would you do if someone is angry at you ?
Like if someone gets really mad at you and starts yelling and becomes threatening and abusive?

ARE YOU ABUSED? DOES THE PERSON YOU LOVE…
1. "Tracks" all of your time? Takes up all of your time? Hardly any room for anyone else? No friends?
2. Constantly accuses you of cheating?
3. Discourages your relationship with your family and friends?
4. Prevents you from working or from going and doing other things?
5. Criticizes you for everything including the little things?
6. Becomes angry easily whether he/she is sober, or drinking, or abusing drugs?
7. Controls you and controls your life? Meaning the loss of freedom to be your own person and do what you want to do without having to ask for permission or get yelled about what you are do or where you go or who you are going with?
8. Humiliates you in front of others?
9. Destroys your personal property or items with sentimental value?
10. Hit, punch, slap, kick, or bite you or someone else?
11. Use or threaten to use a weapon against you?
12. Threatens to hurt you, hurt the children, or someone else?
13. Forces you to do things you don’t want to do?
YOU ARE A VICTIM OF ABUSE IF YOU:
1. Feel like you have to "walk on eggshells" to keep him/her from getting angry and are frightened by his/her temper or exaggerated emotional reactivity.
2. Feeling like you can't live without him/her.
3. Stop seeing other friends or family, or give up activities you enjoy because he or she doesn't like them or will accuse you of liking your friend more than a friend as well as accuse you of cheating.
4. Are afraid to tell him/her your worries and feelings about the relationship.
5. Are often compliant because you are afraid to hurt his/her feelings; and have the urge to "rescue" him/her when he/she is troubled.
6. Feel that you are the only one who can help him/her and that you should try to "reform" him/her.
7. Find yourself apologizing to other people for your partners behavior when he or she treats them badly or apologizing to yourself when your partner treats you badly.
8. Stop expressing opinions if he/she doesn't agree with them.
9. Stay because you feel he/she will kill him/herself if you leave.
10. Believe that his/her jealousy is a sign of love.
11. Have been kicked, hit, shoved, or had things thrown at you by him/her when he/she was jealous or angry.
12. Believe the critical things he/she says to make you feel bad about yourself.
13. Believe that there is something wrong with you if you don't enjoy the sexual things he/she makes you do.
14. She makes all of the decisions and you don’t have a say and you just got used to it.
BELOW IS A LIST OF THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP YOURSELF:
1. Tell a friend or relative that you can trust.
2. Make safety arrangements such as leaving the relationship.
3. Gain the support of witnesses, when possible.
4. Take notes detailing dates, times and what occurred.

Get away from them. I find angry hostile people physicality threatening (because I'm small).
