Do you ever wonder if JK Rowling knew that the name Hogwarts is a combination of Hog and Warts?

    No!!!! Really????????

I am sure she had NO IDEA the word was an anagram of WARTHOGS.

or that you could also make the word  GROWTH  out of  Hogwarts,  since the entire story is about the GROWTH of the characters.

    No, I don't. It's an obvious association.

No. I'm sure she typed the name like 1,000 times over the course of writing her books and she never ever noticed.

I really can't think it came as a surprise to her. She probably noticed the reference to warthog as well.

    Are you serious?

You think that Rowling who named Durmstrang after the German literary movement Sturm und Drang didn't realize that Hogwarts is hog+warts?

It's not as crazy as someone who put SpongeBob Squarepants together.

No, I've never wondered that. It's pretty clear she knew that.
