sealant is not drying?

I applied Thompson's water seal to the rock work around my indoor spa pool.  It has been SEVEN days and it is still very tacky/sticky.  I have fans blowing on it 24 hours a day. Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to call the manufacturer and ask THEM.

Their phone number is likely on the can.

You did not mix it well or sealant was past its use date.

thompsons water seal works by being absorbed into the material its meant to protect ...sounds like your rocks are not porous ..so it will not work ..ever ..the real question is ...why would anybody want to apply thompsons water seal to a products thats indoors ?   its designed for exterior use only

Too much humidity from the pool. Anyway to open windows? Or the can was old.

I would suggest you chose the wrong sealant for rocks. It may takes months for all of the solvent in the water seal to evaporate. Next time try a concrete sealer. It will cure in 24 to 48 hours
