Are women in the Middle East treated worse than Blacks were during slavery? ?

Yes. Women in Middle East simply have no freedom. Atleast Blacks had the freedom to do what they liked.

No. Women in the Gulf have lucrative child care benefits for maternity leave and governments are investing big money in female entrepreneurship. Guardianship laws were also suspended recently. 

Basically, the Gulf is modernizing.
