Can I deduct payments to child if I don't itemize?

No. Gifts to individuals are not deductible, evein if you do itemize (!)

You would need to share more details about why these payments are being made. Is it a gift, child support, payments to child for doing a radio or TV spot for your local mattress business, etc. Could all change the answer to the question being asked.
With the information shared it is unlikely you can deduct them itemizing or not.

You can't whether you itemize or not.

You can't deduct payments to a child, even if you DO itemize.

What kind of "payments to child" are a deduction, even if you itemize?
