Why are Southampton exited about receiving Kyle Walker Peters for 12 million, when he isn't worth more than a Bargain Bucket at KFC?

Update 2:

I suppose then everyone is happy with the deal. On a side note, I am pleased Southampton stayed up. I have liked the club ever since you gave us Gareth Bale

Kyle W.P. has done well in a position Saints have had a problem with in recent times.  He’s young, full of potential.  And given our record of taking raw talent, honing it and then selling on for a far greater fee - he might just be a bargain?  Hojberg was a want away player, so he had to go. Better than leaving on a free.  Good luck with him.

He's a good player and in today's market worth far more than 12 million

OK KC without the F,thats funny. But they have swapped with a Spurs MF so life can't be that bad. Ben White of Brighton is a target for all and sundry though

Hoiberg was sold for 15 million but with them signing Walker-Peters he was basically just sold for 3 million what a steal
