No. They've "temporarily" removed the comments both here and over on the news section.

They took comments away because of trolls and people who were abusing comment it. Under some posts you can find a link to a survey asking if you want the comment sections back or not.

They disable it dues to a lot of abusive and hateful comments, ppl have been complain g about it for years so now they disable it.
Just like they did with the emailing each other , they disable that too.
This is fine with me

It was removed 2 wks ago and you've been posting during that time, so apparently you either already know the answer to your question or don't really care about comments or you'd have missed them long before now.
.
No one is banned from Yahoo, and if your account was suspended, you wouldn't be able to post (which, based on your YA activity, wouldn't be a bad thing).

You mean the abuse section
removed because it became just a medium to abuse all members

For the upteenth time, the comments were disabled across the entire Yahoo platform, including commenting on YA answers. This was for security and safety reasons. Also, there are legal liability reasons for Verizon because of increasing spamming, violent threats, and attempts to breach security around a presidential election. They did the same thing in 2012 and 2016.

Nobody can comment now, they never explain changes or maybe they do somewhere and I missed it but it might be to stop bickering.
