The divorce rate for royals is not unusual. In your zeal to portray royals in the negative light, you overlook the fact that the divorce rate amongst everyone is higher than in the past; divorce is no longer seen as taboo.

If you think  the divorce rate is bad for the royals it is worse among our politicians, the likes of Johnson and Corbyn have been divorced more than once. As others say, Peter Phillips is the latest to fall, now Autumn's come and gone.

Peter Philips and his wife Autumn are, I think, the latest.    In the distant past, Kings had their wives beheaded when they wanted to move on (although Henry VIII wanted a woman who could bear him a legitimate son).    Gone are the days when a couple stayed together for the sake of their children.   HM's family don't have a very good track record but these days, divorce isn't such a shock-horror word.
