Does God like watching civilizations grow and then be destroyed and then start again over and over?

    Why wouldnt It? It has destroyed civilizations or commanded the hebrews to, and then when it realized how badly it had messed up on earth, it killed everything so it could start over again.

    Gods last exactly as long as the civilizations that created them...When the Greek civilization fell, so did Zeus, he and his only begotton son Apollo were thrown on the scrap heap..Same with Phoenician and Babylonian and Egyptian empires, when they crashed, their gods were made redundant...Same will happen when Western Civilization crashes and burns, this Jesus character will be chucked unceremoniously on the big compost heap in the sky...

    It might be entertaining to a minor deity. I would think the cosmos would be more spectacular though.
