is it normal to have extra fat during puberty?
i'm 14 and i find that my belly is getting a little bigger as well as my thighs. i'm nowhere near fat, i eat fruits and veggies, but i get tons of junk food cravings often and always give in to them and so im
afraid of getting bigger as i grow.

Junk food has to stop. It's making you fat, primarily the added sugars and white flour products.
Pasta and most sliced breads are junk.
Most processed foods have added sugars that are junk.
Sweets are junk.
It doesn't matter what you eat; NOTHING compensates for the bad that fructose does to your liver.

Certainly your body changes. Your bust develops, and your hips may get wider as your body prepares to have babies. But if your belly and thighs are getting bigger, it's because of the junk food, and it's not good. You need to learn to deal with the cravings.
