what's the purpose of pubic hair?

and are you supposed to shave it or just leave it there?

    Purpose? It signals sexual maturity and its imminent arrival in adolescents.  It reduces friction, sebum from the hair follicles prevents bacterial infection. Whether to save/trim is a matter of contemporary fashion or fetish.

    I'm not sure what it's for, but I heard you're just supposed to trim it because if you shave it all off your vagina breaks out. I also heard with the hair on your legs that the hair on there is supposed to keep your skin clean, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. Maybe pubic hair is the same?? Idk. Anyways, I hope this helps!!
