If f(x)= 3sin(πx)+cos(2πx), what is the period of the function f?

    sin(pi x) has a period of 2 since 2pi/pi and cos(2pi x) has a period of 1 since 2pi/2pi.

    Lowest common denominator of 2 and 1 is just 2 so that's the period of the overall function.
