Can you die from getting coolant spilled on your skin?

How likely is it?

Yes, if you spill 500,000 gallons on yourself, you will die

Most unlikely.  You would need to drink it.  If some is spilled on you wash it off with soap and water.

    No.

Very unlikely you'll have any reaction.

Just wash the area of contact with hand soap and water.

The general threat of coolant, besides drinking it, is to get it on your hands or in your face while it's HOT!

You can avoid that trouble by checking it when your engine is cold (unused recently).

You’ll be fine, just don’t drink it.

Then I should be dead 30+ years ago.  Just wash hands clean with soap and water and dry as coolant is poisonous BEFORE YOU GRAB your lunch.
