i want to order from grubhub and i wanted to ask the driver to leave the food on my porch & i was going to leave the money in the mailbox (maybe in an envelope as well) but im too worried this sounds very rude and way too dramatic

grubhub does cash deliveries that is the only way i’ve ever ordered from them.

You apparently have never done Grubhub or similar.  You must pay for your grub in advance by credit card when you order the food.  None of the delivery providers takes cash on delivery.  They all use the credit card online in advance.
