If you are trying to do a cleanup, soak up as much water as you can with a mop, rag, paper towel, etc., then put on a fan to dry.  If it's carpet in the winter, heat in addition to the fan really helps.

If you're trying to remove some solid from solution, spread the solution out so there is lots of surface area.  For example, pour it into a shallow tray rather than keep it in a bottle.  Sun helps a lot, if you have direct sun.  Wind helps, too.  You can substitute for sun with artificial heat if you need to, and for wind with a fan.

    Use the "Solar Wind" method:

Put it outside in the sun, and let the wind dry it.

For instance, hang it on a clothes line.

Drop a paper towel on your spill, and turn on a fan.
