Why don't I get ads when I watch YouTube videos?

Before you ask I

1. Don't have an adblocker

2. Don't have YouTube Premium

3. Don't want to change this, as I think it's very lucky

I only get no ads when I watch videos on a certain account of mine, and I still get ads like normal on my other accounts.

This is tied to the account and not a device, so I don't get ads no matter where I am watching.

I used to get ads but then an ad on a video wouldn't stop running even though the ad was over and it froze the YouTube app and I had to restart my phone. And I haven't gotten an ad while watching with that account since.

Does anyone know why/ have heard of anything like this happening?

many internet browsers already have ad - blocking technology built into them and dont need 3rd party software to block adverts, thats what sounds like is happening here

Ad free day or week? You are lucky. Must be a channel not funded by ads.
