Is the HPV vaccine safe for teens? It’s only been around for 10 years? Do most people get this vaccine? ?

Yes, it is safe for both adults and adults.
Getting the vaccine is like having a spare tire in car: better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
This isn't about a shot to prevent some minor ailment. This is about preventing CANCER.

It has been around for decades for certain populations. It began being recommended regularly to the general public about 15 years. It's the only shot we can prevents cancer. There are no adverse effects different from any other vaccine (rash at site of needle stick, low grade fever). There is no reason not to get it. Earlier the better.

Most people do not get this vaccination. It is required in certain jurisdictions. If your teen is sexually active it is recommended that they do vaccinate.

Many doctors see this vaccine very critic and do not recommend that.

Every school in the UK offers it to students, I have never heard of anyone refusing it.
