How much SHOULD it cost to rent field space in the UK?

What monthly/yearly rental cost should field space be per acre?

Update:

The field will be used as a field and returned to the owner as a field there should be no issues there

The rental yield on farmland in the UK is about 2%.  So if you have a value, your yearly rental should be about 2% of that.  If it has outbuildings such as a stable, the rent will be higher.  Average price for farmland is £8,000 an acre.

Depends on the field; there's no 'should'. Too many factors - including location, size, use, term etc.

Depends on where in the UK it is ( and for what purpose)

Depends on location, intended use and above all, supply and demand.
