What do you think of this quote ?
Somebody says to reach for the stars because if you miss you at least reach the sky
So I thought I would come up with a series of unattainable goals to motivate me
One is to write 50 books at the same time - I already have 50 book outlines
Another is to become fluent in Arabic and Sanskrit and Hebrew and Japanese and Chinese both in verbal and written style
Another is to get down to my middle school weight
Another is to meditate until I have a genius iq
And another is to get go to Harvard
Also I want at least 16 of my books to be New York Times best sellers
Unattainable goals keep you productive because you never reach them right?

That might help out some to reach their goals but most would be setting themselves up for failure. When I set a goal, monthly I review my goals and what results I have accomplished so far to help keep me motivated to keep going. If I was not making much progress because the goal was so high I'd never reach it, I'd chuck it and become depressed and despondent and feel as if I had been spinning my wheels for the last month. So it wouldn't be for me but if it works for you, then go for it!
