Why are people at work so fake?

Why do people act so awkward and fake to each other? I just wanna go to work, leave me alone to do my job, and leave. I don't wanna hang out with you after work for "game night" or some other stupid crap where everyone is fake and pretending to have fun. I wanna go home to my wife and kids

Sounds like you have a very negative outlook on life and you depend on your wife and kids as a source of happiness.. very unhealthy.

After a while people at work will realize you are a family man who doesn't want to go out after work.
