A few years ago I predicted information had mass and now I read an article that confirms my theory. ?

How do I claim credit since it was my idea? 😂 🤷🏽‍♂️

Did you publish your theory in a peer reviewed scientific journal? If not, you are just out of luck.

Can you prove that you had that idea some while ago?

Information doesn't have mass but the medium it is recorded in does.

If you actually had a theory, ie a system of ideas that explain a phenomenon, you could write to the authors and cite your paper.

You can't.  Predicting something is not scientifically proven.  It's using another science completely.  6th sense, intuition, higher self - whatever you want to call it, but it is not science.
