Not much.  70% of US government debt is held by Americans.

Disaster.  Complete chaos.  Economic upheaval.  America under Trump is running HUGE annual deficits.  Without foreign financing very painful spending cuts would have to be made to an already shaky economy.

There would be a whole lot less money for the government to spend on things it can't pay for.    That means slashing spending and raising taxes.   It would destroy our economy.   Think bread lines and Hoovervilles...

MOST of the 'debt' is stashed-away in bank vaults and used to give smaller countries currency world-wide buying power ..........and there it will stay.
