    Prince

I really like both of them very much, but Prince wrote many songs for himself and for others, he played more genres of music and he played many more musical instruments and he also was a better dancer and more artistic than Elvis.

"Prince Rogers Nelson was an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, dancer, actor, and filmmaker. A guitar virtuoso known for his genre-crossing work, wide-ranging singing voice and flamboyant stage appearances, Prince is regarded as one of the greatest musicians in the history of popular music. His innovative music integrated a wide variety of styles, including funk, rock, R&B, new wave, soul, psychedelia, and pop. Prince pioneered the late 1970s Minneapolis sound, a funk rock subgenre drawing from synth-pop and new wave."

This is an apples or oranges question. Like them both very much, but different  types of artists.

However, Prince wrote, played and produced all his own creations. Elvis just had a great singing voice with other peoples' songs.
