Is it true that there are nearly 100 separate man-made objects strewed  all over the surface of the Moon?

    If you're talking individual pieces, probably a lot more than that.. if you mean separate spacecraft, no, there've been about 41 missions that have sent landers/rovers/men/ or went into lunar orbit, only to later impact on the moon after their mission had been completed.
