"Windows OS" is a generic term that refers to any version of the Windows program. "Windows 10 Home" is a specific version of the Windows OS.
It is like asking the difference between a poodle and a dog. A poodle is a specific breed of dog.
I suspect that what you are really wanting to ask is what is the difference between Windows 10 and MAC OS. Windows 10 is an OS (operating system) that can run on just about any computer sold. While MAC OS is an OS that only runs on Apple computers and devices.
Comparing the two is like comparing a Ford and Chevy. They both do the same thing. They are very similar in how the work. But the "gauges" may be different between them. Something that is on the right in Windows may be on the left in MAC OS. You can debate all day which is "better" and in the end neither side will be able to prove that theirs actually is.
Generally devices running Windows are cheaper than Apple devices. But the Apple OS includes extras (like a word processor or a video editing program) that you have to purchase separately if you get the Windows OS. Also because Apple makes both the OS and the hardware, the MAC OS can be more stable then the Windows OS which has to run on "everything" so has no way to assure that the hardware might not cause issues with it.
You can only get the MAC OS if you purchase an Apple device. While you can get with Windows with anything, including Apple devices.
