  • because yoohoo is staffed by know-nothing safe-space snowflake Euro-worshipping urban metrosexual kiddietwinks offended by any opinion outside their Leftist peer groups

They do not want to be exposed or for something else to be exposed.  Paid off to do so or not, doesn't matter because that is ultimately the reason unless they actually are working on improving the comments section and it really is only suspended temporarily.

This was for security and safety reasons. Also, there are legal liability reasons for Verizon because of increasing spamming, violent threats, and attempts to breach security around a presidential election. They did the same thing in 2012 and 2016. It is not Reps or Dems, but all.

The company cannot allow anyone to make a comment that goes against their Liberal agenda. Thought crimes will not be permitted by Yahoo. At least Yahoo is being more honest in its intent to prevent any opposing opinions from appearing on their stories. Yahoo used to simple delete any comment that went against their desired narrative. A story with 200 comments would suddenly only have 20, all agreeing with Yahoo's desired narrative.
