What vegetables can I put in freezer?

Vegetables go bad really easily and I don't cook very often. I am wondering if I can freeze them so they will last longer and I just use them whenever I need to.

I tried freezing blanched broccolis and chopped onions before.

I have done corn and green beans with good results.

Unless you are growing your own garden, you might find it cheaper just to buy frozen vegetables from the freezer department of your local grocery.  Read labels of frozen vegetables.  Most of them are just the vegetables with no additives.  It would be just as good as freezing your own.  (much, much better than canned veggies.)  If the bags are too large, you can always cook what you need and place the open bag into a zip-lock freezer bag to keep the remainder frozen for next time you want them.
