I have been "in love" in the youthful romantic sense of being totally wrapped up in somebody. I have also expected the mature "love" of partnerships (friendships, marriage, family relationships) based on mutual respect and trust, intimacy, mutual support and dedication. The latter is a lot less exciting, but that craving for excitement diminished with maturity.

Yes, today is our 10th anniversary,  I fell in love with my sweetie in 1975. After 35 we reconnected and  picked up where we left off. it's awesome.
