Cold AC at night but extremely cold at morning/hot outside?

Since I got the AC system fixed (replaced leaking O-ring seal and flushed the lines) on my grand marquis 2004, I've been using it only at night because I use my other car at morning. Today when I took crown vic out during morning time, I was surprised that it was blowing extremely cold which it doesn't at night. By no means I'm saying that it doesn't blow cold at night, it blows really good cold air at night but in the morning it blows colder than night. All I can guess is that maybe compressor cycles off more often at night because of normal outside temp while stays engaged for a long time at morning because of hot temp outside. Freon charge is fine and there is no leak at all.

Is it normal? Do all car's AC work better when hot outside?
