What’s the difference between pouting and feeling sheepishly ashamed and remorseful?
- HelenLv 71 month ago
Pouting suggests playfulness or defiance. Shame and guilt are the complete opposite of that.

Pouting usually comes first, because at that point, you're usually still blaming others for your predicament. Feeling sheepishly ashamed and remorseful comes later, after you finally admit you were at least partly at fault yourself.

Pouting is rarely paired with remorse. Pouting is about the great, "I WANT", even if its for forgiveness. I don't believe it's remorse.

Pouting is a facial expression.
"Feeling sheepishly ashamed and remorseful" is an emotional response.
