No. Turtle Mitch has already explicitly stated he won't. Hypocrites, the lot of them.

TRUMP AND THE REPUBLICANS ARE GOING TO TRY THEIR BEST TO GET JUSTICE GINSBURG REPLACEMENT CONFIRMED BEFORE THE ELECTION AND IF THEY FAIL AND THE DEMOCRATS WIN IN NOVEMBER THEY WILL TRY EVEN HARDER AFTER THE ELECTION

No.  McConnell is utterly without morals and ethics, and he's going to try to push this through regardless of what he said in 2016.  Everyone knew this would happen.

Lindsey Graham will fall into line, too, regardless of what HE said back in 2016.

However. it is highly unlikely that the Republicans can push through a nominee in fewer than 6 weeks. Neil Gorsuch took over 2 months to be confirmed, and all the circumstances were right. This time, they are not.  Moreover, public opinion is not in the Republicans' favor on this, and they need to take notice of that, not least because they have Republicans facing difficult election battles.

RBG's demise, in fact, could turn out to be the worst thing that could happen to the Republicans and Trump, because of the way it could galvanize public opinion.

If Trump were a lame-duck president, they might still try after the election, but Mark Kelly might be seated in Arizona (he's on track to win there), and they have a number of hesitant sitting Republicans in the Senate.

Finally, I've noted today that all across the country, there is a call for increasing the number of justices and packing the Court during a Biden presidency.  I've been amazed by how many prominent people are making this call. This is something the Republicans do NOT want to inspire.

Mitch McConnell said and expalin why we shouldn’t confirm a SCOTUS Justice in an Election Year when Scalia died four years ago (342 days before the next president took office).

But following the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg earlier today (124 days before inauguration day 2021), it’s worth holding him to his words will be naive... Mitch McConnell is a dishonest politician anyway, Mitch McConnell says we should not call him "Moscow Mitch" but we know that was another lie  "Moscow Mitch" is a great asset against America

Absolutely not.  Republicans are lying hypocrites who act only in their own selfish interest.  Another example is Lying Martha McSally, who voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and now claims to support coverage for preexisting conditions.  Lying Martha also claims to have been raped multiple times.  Given her reputation for veracity on easily verifiable matters like her votes on legislation, I think there is a serious "reasonable doubt" on that one.

The dems did not hold the majority in the Senate and that is why Merrick was not brought up for a confirmation vote. If 0bama did not lose the the majority he had when taking office, they most certainly would have. He also mentioned something about elections having consequences. This is one of those times.
