Nothing that a person can eat or drink will cause them to become diabetic. If what we consumed was the only factor in causing diabetes, then every single person who was overweight would have diabetes. But there are many people 100pounds over their ideal weight for their height, and have no signs of any disease, including diabetes.

Just as there are healthy people, who eat right, exercise regularly, don't drink or smoke, and still get lung cancer, cirrhosis of the liver, and bone related issues.

No.  Absolutely NOT.  As Shay correctly intimates, there is absolutely NO FOOD or DRINK that causes diabetes.  It CAN, however, increase the risks if someone already has other risk factors.

No because there is actually NOTHING that you can eat or drink that guarantees you will get diabetes.

Certain things, like too much soda, just increases your risks.
