Will I have to manually change my monitors Hz?

I’ve had an ASUS VG248QE for around 2 years now and went to look at the information on the screen and it says 60Hz. I mainly use it for my PS4 so it’s not an issue now but when i get the PS5 I’d like for it to be 144Hz. Would it automatically change? or should i hook it up to my PC and try to change it from there ?

Most monitors have a fixed refresh rate but yours has a variable refresh rate of 50-144HZ. So you should be able to change the rate from graphics driver even though refresh rate hardware is within the monitor.
