Why consumption of only one type of protein is not good for one's health?

dunno, but it sounds like a lie, but maybe they're talking about the 'protein powder' which is an Incomplete protein which is missing some of the amino acids critical to building muscle....chicken, fish, eggs etc are complete proteins.....

It depends on how many amino acids the protein has, but the reason is that most sources of proteins lack some essential amino acids (those the body can not make on its own), so eating diverse sources of proteins is more likely to give you a balanced diet of amino acids. .
