What will happen to the Internet in 500 years? How will it evolve?

Think about how much data will exist over the next 500-1000 years, how will the internet change as the data accumulated to search for becomes infinitely large. Will there be decades of information deleted, will the internet turn into a gigantic technological museum or historical library to search for things from 100's perhaps thousands of years ago?

Update:

Will there become internet historians?

Who klnows, most predictions of the future of technology are little more than extrapolations of current technology.  There are things that go outwith this sort of prediction such as the iphone that redefined smartphones to be something more than the windows/balckberries of the time.

This question is absurd. Consider that, just 50 years ago, no one envisioned the internet at all. If there is still life on Earth, technology expansion would be far beyond our capacity to contemplate.
