Are cucumbers that have gone mushy ok to use in a smoothie?

Along with mushy bananas. It'll be alright.

Mushy equals rotting. I wouldn't consume rotting produce.

Depends. Do you want the cucumber Juice, or the 'meat'. I would just cut open the cuke, scoop out the seeds and use the rest.

Depends on why they are mushy.
If they've started to mold and soften, that's a big no.
If they are just getting soft from sitting around - see how slimy they are (not a good thing) and smell/taste. If they aren't off, they should be okay.
We have a problem with stuff freezing in our fridge. Vegetables will freeze, then defrost (and be soft) so the texture is definitely lost in this case, but yeah, they could be used somewhere where you don't need the crisp.
