My grades in high school weren’t the best, is there still a chance i will get accepted to a university? ?

    Yes. You may have to go to a community college first for a year or 2, but it's possible. The state universities in your home state will be the most generous toward accepting you. I'd go to community college first if high school was challenging.

    It depends on what you mean by "weren't the best."  There are many smaller to mid-size 4 year colleges and universities which will give average students a chance.  If your grades were poor, however, starting in community college and later transferring to a 4 year school might be the better option.

    Sure.  At least in the US, you can find a college that will admit you.  But, the best option might be to look at a nearby community college.  For community college, all you need is a high school diploma or equivalent.  Do well at the community college, and you can then transfer to a 4 year university.
