If string theory is correct could other dimensions of space/time affect our perception in strange ways?

But of course----Some people say we would have noticed the effects of different dimensions and time  and space disruptions long ago if they were true------"Knock---Knock" (Hitting head)  ----BUT WE HAVE!   only we have been "noticing" this stuff throughout all HISTORY.----Before there was any Physics of "string, or any other "theories"----And thought it had something to do with "Spirits of the dead" in the pre-Science age.-----Only MOST of us NOW CALL this stuff we notice "PARANORMAL" .

Only those BOTH familiar with modern Physics Theories AND the so called "Paranormal" will recognize it all for what it really is.-----Unfortunately, most folks know only one or the other, and do not see the connection.

BTW the "Small, curled up dimension" thing, is an inconsistency thing --a "cheat", so to speak----to avoid the above in the theory.--------if they were normal dimensions we WOULD "notice things"------but THIS IS THE POINT   we DO "notice" and call it "paranormal".  while failing to see the connection.    A trained physicist will ignore the "paranormal category", normally, and the typical witness is not usually a physicist.

NO. The 6 extra space dimensions are too small to observe or affect us in any way. Otherwise we would have noticed them long ago.

Good chance but you might need special equipment to see what's going on. A long time ago people didn't know much about germs and diseases. But microscopes changed our perception. There are lots of light frequencies we don't see with the naked eye. But astronomers can see them with special telescopes. 🐸

Dimensions are simply coordinates for space/time.  If the extra ones do exist we've been living with them since the beginning of mankind.  My point, what we perceive, the three spatial ones and the one temporal one, will not change.

    So the answer is no.
