Two reasons. (1) the angels that rebelled against God and were cast out of Heaven, becoming demons, which want to take as many of God's beloved human children as possible to Hell with them.  (1) the fact that God created humans with free will, the right to choose His way or reject His way and suffer the consequences.

Evil does exist in every country American is conned by heavy metal. People who follow not all media but it's the writers of thrillers that people follow murder is wrong .I found NSW police to love people they let people smoke marijuana in 1980,90 and now they are smart figuring out that ice ,meth and heroin kills .there four jihadis in the Koran and a smart Muslim doesn't kill Christians of today they fight against Satanic people as well. In France ,England all countries Muslims must not fight but take foster children both sides Muslim and Christian .true evil raped the minds of children while using subliminal talk to tape .to dumb society is evil  .Lebanese looked at you burning country .In 1983 there was a civil war  American tryed to help that could have dropped a atom bomb to win  but left Lebanon .Lebanese gangs colours are trick to take your lives business and your children.A meth addict in Sydney ran down four Lebanese children is worse saying mudda focker and threatening people in Guilford NSW .it's time lebanese to be wealthy like Australia,American ,Malta Europe don't kill become doctors mechanics worth something  .god gave the world and the devil tries take everything it could be so close to you .the sacred heart is order is good  so is the Vatican but its leadership that fails

Is like the sun. If you turn your back to the sun, there is shadow, if you face the sun there is no shadow. Similarly, if you turn your back to God, there is evil. In this material world, we all turned our back to God. In the the kingdom of God, there is no trace of evil.

God created the tree of temptation. Man was deceived. Ate. So came evil.

Because Adan’ sin brought imperfection into the world. Satan rebelled an tempted Adam an Eve . They passed on imperfection. God’s kingdom will solve this. Matt.(6:33) See JW.org

Evil began on earth when Satan told the first lie. Satan was originally a perfect angel, but “he did not stand fast in the truth.” John 8:44

Satan developed a desire for worship that rightly belongs only to Jehovah God. Satan lied to the first woman, Eve, and persuaded her to obey him instead of God. Adam joined Eve in disobeying God. Adam’s decision led to suffering and death.  Read Genesis 3:1-6, 19.

Because people have chosen to sin.  Here is the truth: The Lord Jesus Christ is God. Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, or not. The truth is that the Lord Jesus Christ loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. It is too late to be saved, after death.

    .

Believing on the Lord Jesus Christ means being forgiven all sins past and future and means going to heaven. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that the Lord Jesus Christ is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus was buried, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing on Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven

People are an inherent balance between social cooperation and selfish interests.  We aren't like ants that are all-in on social behavior, nor like the many animals that are purely solitary.  And this balance works well for us, motivating the individual to do the best (s)he can, yet while still encouraging us to work together and care for one another.

In various individuals that balance is off.  They don't have the concern for others, only the desire to act for their own interest.  At most, they might care for their families.

And then there are some individuals where this disrupted balance is extreme.  Sociopaths, autocratic rulers, and such.  There's also a herd mentality that takes over in groups allowing a group to do horrific things that each individual finds abhorrent, but that together they are all afraid to attract the displeasure of the group and speak out against.
