The Mets organization cannot hold step-up-stool for the Nationals organization. The Mets need to focus on Cohen being the new Owner, get rid of that rookie Manager and get rid of that Sports Agent wanna be General Manager, Van Waggy. Who can forget how he jinxed the Mets organization by saying, "Come after us, we are the team to beat." Nationals, Braves, Dodgers, Phillies, Astros, Cubs General Managers did not talk like Van Waggy and the before mentioned are better organizations with Owners who have built a winning tradition because they spent money instead of pocketing it. Bring on Cohen as Owner, Mike Pizza in the Front Office or as Hitting Coach, bring back Valentine, Collins or Randolph as Manager.

No, but the Nationals ARE guilty of playing fundamentally dumb, piss-*** poor, self-destructive baseball, DC-style, and their fans are still drowning in a sea of What ifs?, bad breaks, costly mistakes and a whole lotta missed opportunies to win games.

More likely unhappy that their team didn't make it.

I think all fans are happy when any team from their division is eliminated. The cardinals are happy when the Cubs, brewers, pirates, and reds are eliminated.
