IF it's a FAIR evaluation of the candidates, the best one will get the job.

This reminds me of the joke about the man who couldn't decide which of 3 women to marry, so he gave each one of them $5,000. One spent it all on him, the next got herself a facelift, and the last one put it into investment and gave him a great return, more than double the money. Which one did he marry?

If gender doesn't matter then they have a 1 in 10 chance of getting the job exactly the same as the others. However you could say that there is also only a 3 in 10 chance of a man getting the job.

depends on the job and whether it's in a region with gender quotas. worst case scenario would be something like the army a century ago - 100%, the other worst case scenario would be something like a gender studies teaching position in a liberal college - 0%

Is that a maths question or a 'gender politics' question?

any reply makes an implicit assumption that is probably wrong.  you need to clarify the assumptions

Zero in the current PCBS climate.  Even if he is a better candidate someone will come up with emotional nonsense to assure he is not considered.  Being a single mother gives bonus points regardless of skill levels.  Any #Igotfeluptoo movement complaints destroy a mans credibility even when proven false.  And if the guy is a white guy, forget it.  Too many of those crackers have had too easy a life.  So the chances of a man getting a job is much less than woman unless you were looking at actual skills to fulfill the requirement of the job   The interview question regarding skills are about 2 percent of the meeting.  PCBS is 98 percent.
