How did the fellow who parachuted from the edge of the atmosphere get up to that altitude?

And what happened to that aircraft?

Update:

I'd have loved to have been under that thing when it fell.

He jumped from a high altitude, helium filled balloon.

And once it was relieved of the weight of the rider, the ballon gained altitude until the pressure differential between the gas inside and the atmosphere outside caused it to burst and fall down.

It was the Peking Boulevard. It’s a very famous airplane.

A balloon! The same thing that happens to other "weather balloons".
