# GEOMETRY QUESTION?

Abi is driving from Italy to Paris (Texas, that is). The coordinates are shown below on his map. He knows there is a rest stop between the two towns. The distance from Italy to the rest stop is about 2/3 of the total distance. What is the coordinate for the rest stop?

Update:

Guys, I don't know why the **** it's italy, don't question it. Lol

Here's the pic:

impossible to drive from Italy to Paris Texas, as you would have to cross the Atlantic ocean.

Abi is driving from Italy to Paris (Texas, that is).

The coordinates are shown below on his map.

He knows there is a rest stop between the two towns.

The distance from Italy to the rest stop is about 2/3 of the total distance.

What is the coordinate for the rest stop? The calculation of flight time is based on the straight line distance from Rome, Italy to Paris, TX ("as the crow flies"),  which is about 5,521 miles or 8 885 kilometers.    Your trip begins in Rome, Italy. It ends in Paris, Texas.  Your flight direction from Rome, Italy to Paris, TX is  Northwest (-54 degrees from North).

You failed to show us the map with the Coordinates.

Paris Texas to Italy Texas (USA) is 146 miles according to Google Maps.

There are plenty of rest stops along the way. It's only a two hour drive.

2/3 of the way would put you right in the middle of Dallas.
