Would it be possible for NASA to put astronauts on the sun?

Like could they go at night?

    After the Sun makes its way to the Western Horizon, it is captured by Horus and Osiris and its fires are tamped down for its nightly barge trip on the rivers under the Earth to the Eastern Horizon.  Even so, it is still way too hot for mortals to get near --- the heat is capable of dissociating all atoms into ionized plasma.  So unless you are a god, it's not possible, and you should not make the attempt.

    Yes, but they would not be alive. {They would be very crispy bits of ash. - Laughing my ash off.}

    No. The Sun does NOT turn off at night. It would be a suicide mission. The Sun is ionized plasma. There is NO solid surface and the corona is millions of degrees hot.

    Night Time only happens when the place you are on Earth is turned away from the Sun

    You would be looking away from the Sun thus getting farther from it

    Better in daytime when you would be travelling towards the Sun

    However

    As you get within about 20 Million Miles from the Sun,  both the Craft and yourself will be Vapourized

    But thank you for bringing the Subject up

    If you are 4 years old you might think that you are somehow being clever or funny. If you are older than 4, you will be lucky to max out flipping burgers for the rest of your life.
