It's feasible if they build it at Area 51.

You forgot to ask if it is pointless or even relevant to today's society.

Moon bases were popular back in the defunct space age of the 1950s and 1960s. Fashions have moved on. People are into personal devices nowadays, and moon bases are not necessary. Establishments like nasa are  the icon of a bygone era. Apple, Microsoft and Netflix are where it's at today.

Given continued financial support from Congress 2030 is possible.  NASA hopes for crews to start landing again on the Moon starting in late 2024.  Even if that slips to the next year 2030 to start a permanent lunar base is possible.

They can do it if the Government gets its finger out

It is a long way from NASA's heyday with Apollo

Show me one person from that time that says it was a waste of money

It is possible to have a base by that time but it will cost a lot of money.

And it is NASA not Nasa
