How many eggs is safe to consume in a day?
I'm a 2020-years-old female and I am changing my diet to lose weight and improve my overall physical health. I want to eat more protein rich foods to also help with my hair. Eggs are one of the cheapest forms of protein and I was wondering how many eggs is safe to consume in a day? (Sorry English is not my first language)

There is no set number, although there are no group studies that included feeding the participants more than 3 eggs/day. The below article states "However, one case study included an 88-year-old man who consumed 25 eggs per day. He had normal cholesterol levels and was in very good health".

I would say two of three eggs per day is a great amount. Good luck with your weight loss journey.

You probably could not possibly consume enough eggs to make it an unhealthy amount.

Eggs are high in cholesterol and get mixed reviews. Up to 3 a day is considered Ok.
If goal is weight loss, salads and fresh and frozen vegetables are the key.
