Same problem as "Are South and North America the same continent". It is just a matter of definition. There is no science in that. Choose your favorite answer.
For scientist, their favorite answer depends on what you are studying.
If you are studying a rough model of water level increase, well, then, all oceans are connected. So, if water rises in the pacific, sooner of later, it will spread every where.
If you are studying storms, then, you'll tend to split the world into 5 oceans (North Atlantic, South Atlantic, North Pacific, South Pacific, Indian. And you don't care about the others, such as Arctic.
If you are studying geopolitics, it is yet another answer.
But, yes, if you consider that two mass of waters that are connected belong to the same ocean, then, there is only one ocean. If the objective is to be a smartass and tell your friend wrong when he/she talk about 5 oceans, you can.

In that all 'oceanic' bodies of water are linked, that is a reasonable idea, and you do not even have to consult a video message to note that fact.
But humans love to name and define things, so the present system of division into oceans and seas etc is likely to stay for some while yet.
