    acceleration a = g(m2-m1)/(m1+m2) = g*5/15 = g/3 m/sec^2 

    tension T = m2(g-a) = 10*2g/3 = 20g/3 N

    T = 2gm₁m₂/(m₁ + m₂) = 2(9.8)(5)(10)/(15) = 19.6(10/3) = 65.3 N

    a = g(m₁ – m₂)/(m₁ + m₂) = (9.8)(5)/15 = 3.27 m/s²

      for m₁, F = m₁g – T

              m₁a = m₁g – T

      for m₂, F = T – m₂g

              m₂a = T – m₂g

      adding, g(m₁ – m₂) = a(m₁ + m₂)

      accel: a = g(m₁ – m₂)/(m₁ + m₂)

      substituting:

              T – m₂g = m₂a

              T – m₂g = m₂g(m₁ – m₂)/(m₁ + m₂)

              T = m₂g(m₁ – m₂)/(m₁ + m₂) + m₂g

              T = 2gm₁m₂/(m₁ + m₂)
